3% on gas, grocery, dining

         Cash back auto applied quarterly as statement credit

Golden 1 Visa Platinum Rewards

3% on gas (MCC 5541, MCC 5542), grocery (MCC 5411), and restaurant (MCC 5812 not including fast food)

         Cash back deposited to checking account end of each month

         1% FTF

Restricted to California

 

 

UMB Simply Rewards Visa

3X on gas (MCC 5541, MCC 5542), grocery (MCC 5411), discount stores (MCC 5310), restaurants (MCC 5812) and fast food (MCC 5814)

         Points expire 5 years from time of issue

         2% FTF

         Must redeem increments of $ 25 statement credit (Is it 1point =1cent?), or 12k points = $ 100 visa gift card, but 10k points = $ 100 on other gift cards

I just thought that they are sort of similar initially but actually quite different upon further research!!
