Dior Metallics, the new Dior makeup collection for fall 2017
While we often talk about catwalks to find out what the next upcoming fashion trends will be, we too often forget that these events are also used to discover the latest innovations in makeup. Thus, behind the scenes of its last show, the house of Dior reveals to us that they will be the next novelties in terms of make-up.
The new Dior Metallics look
Peter Philips, the creative director of Dior make-up, has already put together the new look for fall. For him, women will be sublimated with natural and wild beauty. He intends to radiate their complexion with a matte and slightly shiny color while maintaining a nude appearance without any extravagance.
If he chose to call his new collection Dior Metallics, it is quite simply because his range will be thought out in its entirety with a light-receiving metallic touch. However, the 2017 Dior makeup collection will focus on very natural seasonal nuances, both modern and timeless. More than ever, Dior relies on spontaneity.
Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips
The Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips are already announced as the central piece of this new collection. These versatile products can be used as eye shadow as well as lip gloss. They then release a sort of metallic and creamy finish with a light formula and ultra-fast drying.
Thus, the Dior Metalizer Eyes & Lips deposit a light veil of color on the skin associated with a slightly chrome effect. These can be used alone or applied in addition to a more matte lipstick so as to modify its texture. They come in five different colors and harmonize wonderfully with seasonal hues, offering bronze, brown, copper, gray or pale pink.
Other Dior Metallics products
In addition to this central element, the house of Dior has also developed two new Diorshow 5 Couleurs eyeshadow palettes. The first is called Hypnotize and assembles warm tones in shades of gold and chocolate. The second is cooler.
This Magnetize palette contains gray and silver undertones. It also comes with a tinted eyebrow gel, Diorshow Bold Brow, and is enriched with volumetric microfibers. Infused with vitamins and nourishing agents, this product instantly thickens eyebrows while taking care of their beauty over time. It thus shapes the look in a considerable way. Associated with a small brush, it allows a precise and fast application. This eyebrow gel comes in three different shades to best match your hair color.
The Dior Diorblush Color & Light, meanwhile, will sublimate your cheekbones with a radiant color and a creamy texture while the Diorskin Forever Undercover Corrector will hide the slightest of your skin flaws. Likewise, six new shades of lipstick will be added to the Rouge Dior range.
Here again, the metallic or mat effect will be there, available in more or less eccentric shades, ranging from beige or more intense red. Finally, three metallic shades (purple, green or champagne) as well as a classic red will enrich the Vernis de Dior range.
