Rosa Fizz enriches the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria family
The Guerlain house never ceases to express its femininity through the rose. Thus, after the emblematic Rosa Magnifica, Rosa Pop or Rose Barbare, to name a few, it is now the turn of Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz to enter the scene and unveil a sparkling new facet of femininity. It landed jointly with Bergamot Calabria . This new fragrance enriches the large collection of Aqua Allegoria, this time leading us into a gourmet, sparkling and very feminine garden.
Guerlain’s Aqua Allegoria collection
To attract a younger clientele, Guerlain inaugurated, in 1999, a great first in its history of perfumery. The brand made five scented waters called Aqua Allegoria. The idea was then to pay tribute with them to the most beautiful raw materials offered by nature. Since the creation of these first essences, the Aqua Allegoria collection continues to expand, always transporting us to a different garden across the globe. Thus, Guerlain perfumers have crossed the entire planet in search of innovative ingredients that are emblematic of a region. This time, it is the rose’s turn to be honored. This takes us not far from here, to the heart of the Provencal region. In addition, Grasse is today considered to be the world capital of perfumery,
Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz, a juice signed by Thierry Wasser
As always, Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz is a juice that we owe to the exclusive perfumer of the Guerlain house, Thierry Wasser. If his predecessors were all from the family line, Thierry Wasser is the first not to belong to it. A rare designer, at once sensitive, refined and charming, he took up this post in 2008. Today, he has chosen to offer us a fruity, sparkling and floral fragrance. Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz launches with a tangy and gourmet freshness combining mandarin, blackcurrant and lychee. Then, this appetizing blend gives way to an equally gourmet but more refined heart. The latter highlights the rose while accompanying it with peony and plum. Thus, it becomes almost impossible not to succumb to temptation. Logically, Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz then gains in sensuality. This composition ends with a trio of benzoin, sandalwood and white musk.
The return of a mythical bottle
As always, Aqua Allegoria Rosa Fizz is presented to us in the iconic bottle of this collection. A sort of modern version of the famous Bee Flask created in 1853 for the Imperial Cologne, this one displays a rare nobility. Its chiseled honeycomb dome plays with light to create multiple reflections. This time it surmounts a sandblasted glass case which says a lot about the freshness contained in this bottle. Finally, logically, it comes to us in a very feminine pink color that echoes its ingredients.
