Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori, Gucci takes us to the temple of flowers
In 2017, the Gucci house gave birth to Gucci Bloom, a rich fragrance of many white flowers, transporting women to a huge garden of plants, full of abundance and dreaminess. Further accentuating the luminosity of this earthly paradise, Gucci presents us this time its new creation: Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori. In a sparkling yellow bottle, he delivers a composition based on jasmine, tuberose and ylang ylang, designed by one of the greatest perfumers of our time: the talented Alberto Morillas. With all the ingredients to become a cult essence, Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori only needed an advertisement. This time, the stage is set. The universe of this perfume is at the border of dream and reality.
The enchanting world of Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori
Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori is an intoxicating fragrance, the ambition of which is to make women aware of the beauty of nature. Connected to the world, he advocates “flower power” and features four women acting like real priestesses, sublimating their environment with the help of intriguing rituals. The advertisement for Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori is designed like a psychedelic dream. Futuristic and fascinating, she navigates between dream and reality, blurring the line between these two worlds. Here, time seems to stand still. The scene is filmed in a jerky way, which only amplifies the surreal aspect of this advertisement. The gaze of women is lost in front of the camera while the flowers themselves have eyes. It all takes place in the abandoned theater of La Scarzuola, located not far from a former Franciscan convent. The decor owes its existence to the architect Tomaso Buzzi, and was built at the end of the 1950s. Here, flowers flood the screen, while certain scenes in this advertisement are directly inspired by the French film Peau d’Âne, directed by Jacques Demy. Everything is played on the track “Fade Into You” by Mazzy Star.
Who are the four muses of Gucci?
As you may have noticed, the advertisement for Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori does not feature just one but four different muses. Here they are director and actress Anjelica Huston, songwriter and performer Florence Welch, actress and model Jodie Turner Smith, and designer Susie Cave. These are also directed by another woman: award-winning photographer and director Floria Sigismondi. Having already collaborated with many artists such as David Bowie, Christina Aguilera, The Cure or even Marilyn Manson, this Italian is known for her often mysterious and dark universe. Here, she signs a real cinematographic feat. Over the scenes, this parallel universe becomes more captivating. The frenetic energy that emanates from this campaign is communicative,Gucci Bloom Profumo Di Fiori .
