The magical powers of Hermes!

When the Hermès house tells us its best stories, it does so in perfume of course! Eau des Merveilles would be a fairy tale described in powerful scents like fireworks and soft like the dawning light of a summer sun. Original and luminous, Eau des Merveilles is a fragrant “UFO” that you only meet once and if possible, with your eyes closed!

A touch of magic, a touch of daydreaming, here is Eau des Merveilles!

Hermès, the beautiful century-old leather goods house, has always known how to distill precious and almost artisanal know-how through its creations of leather or perfumes. In a time when industrial creations en masse are the masters, Hermès is still a legendary opposition. Against the tide of perfumes marketed to the extreme to make sales, Hermès offers us Eau des Merveilles as if to better offer us the most beautiful chapter of its fairy tale.

Because Eau des Merveilles released in 2004 is intended to be a perfume of dreams, a perfume that mocks trends to display its own, colorful and totally atypical. Eau des Merveilles is a feminine fragrance that asserts itself without flowers, a daring bet, but also a fragrance built around a rarely used animal raw material, even more at the heart of a fragrance, ambergris. Eau des Merveilles is different and affirms it in an absolutely intoxicating fireworks display of colors and scents.

We will therefore not be surprised by the fantasy and beauty of the advertising campaigns for Eau des Merveilles. Visuals like film are worked around a flamboyant fireworks display of warm and radiant colors where Eau des Merveilles becomes a magical elixir that transfigures its universe.

“From surprise to magic and from magic to enchantment, Eau des Merveilles takes us by the nose on a cloud of fantasy. »Hermès for Eau des Merveilles.

Eau des Merveilles, a feminine fragrance without flowers with a deep animal sensuality

Designed by the fabulous Serge Mansau, the Eau des Merveilles bottle looks like a marvelous glass magnifying glass where the entire Milky Way has landed. The stars and the amber of the juice merge to better create an orange and burning color like a summer sun.

With Eau des Merveilles, perfumers Ralph Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer had fun creating a fragrance that is totally unlike the usual olfactory pyramids. Thus the top notes are offered rather curiously under notes of sandalwood, vetiver, oak and Peruvian balsam as if to better bewitch us in our entry into this magnificent composition. Then ambergris, true star of the fragrance, takes us to the heart in its iodized and animal whirlwind, deeply sensual and somewhat masculine. Finally, the sparkling stars of the depths will be created by citrus notes of lemon and bitter orange punctuated by a magical and spicy touch of elemi and pink berries.

“A multi-faceted novel built on a woody amber accord that resonates even in the top notes, the fragrance, created in 2004 by Ralph Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer, succeeds in the bet of a scintillating femininity without apparent flowers. »Hermès for Eau des Merveilles.

You could not have missed the launch of the Eau des Merveilles Bleue version at the beginning of this year.
