The Different Perfumes for Men YSL

The Different Perfumes for Men YSL

Provocative, but ultra talented, Yves Saint Laurent immediately displays a style that shocks, but which is ultra modern. Yves Saint Laurent notably invented the modern woman by reinterpreting the great classics of the male wardrobe. The first female tuxedo will see the light of day in 1966, the Saharan one and the first pantsuit in 1967. It is the second fragrance of YSL founded in 1971, Rive Gauche, which will propel it to the front of the stage. Among the greatest olfactory successes, we note Y men, Mon Paris, Baby Doll, Cinema, Elle, and even L’Homme. Released in 2006, L’Homme symbolizes one of the most seductive masculine scents.

The contrasts of the YSL man

In 2006, the YSL house presented L’Homme . Both raw and precious, the fragrance L’Homme presents ultra masculine aspects. The man of the 21st century here displays a beautiful virility, a natural charm that attracts women, without him even realizing it! L’Homme is a perfume that has many facets and plays perfectly well with the different contrasts.

If Man is an essence that pays homage to modern men, it does not hesitate to be elegant and daring. The composition will begin with the lively freshness of citron and bergamot, enhanced by ginger and the aromatic freshness of basil. The heart combines violet flower, contrasted by white pepper. Woody and amber, the base will finally combine sandalwood, vetiver, Virginia cedar and amber. The bottle is very contemporary. Thanks to its octagonal cap, it recalls all the wonderful facets of modern man.

Notes as powerful as they are elegant with the Ultimate Man

Ten years after the success of the Man, the YSL brand unveils the Ultimate Man . Still as elegant as ever, L’Homme Ultime reveals a more powerful and energetic character than its predecessor. The new version is also very sensual, pushing male seduction to its peak. Since the first advertising clip for L’Homme, Yves Saint Laurent has chosen the charismatic Winnie Woolston to represent his fragrances.

Here, the black and white clip is hypnotic and the seduction gives all their meaning to the fragrance L’Homme Ultime. The composition takes off on a citrus freshness with the presence of bergamot and grapefruit, associated with dihydromyrcénol. The heart combines clary sage, geranium and cardamom. Finally, the base combines vetiver, amber woods and cashmeran for an unforgettable trail.

Ultra virile notes at the heart of Intense Man

In 2013, YSL offers the Man the Intense . Just as attractive as his eldest, the Intense Man nonetheless wants to be more mysterious, more powerful and much more daring. YSL describes this reinterpretation as being “A more powerful and more sophisticated olfactory interpretation than its predecessor”, the promise of an enigmatic seduction pushed to its climax. The Intense Man is for men who assume their virility.

Signed by Anne Flipo and Dominique Ropion, the composition takes off on the freshness of lemon and bergamot to which black pepper is combined, thus conferring its virility. Then, the heart is a floral-powdery association because it is composed of davana, violet flower and orange blossom. Finally, the base will leave a virile, but very sensual trail, thanks to the presence of an accord of suede and leather, benzoin and cedar wood.

The authentic tones of the Free Man

L’Homme Libre was created in 2011 and is part of modernity and freshness. It follows on from L’Homme, released in 2006 and La Nuit de l’Homme released in 2009. L ‘ Homme Libre  symbolizes the strength, sensuality and charisma of each man. Between creativity and authenticity, the Free Man is the perfect olfactory incarnation of the man of the 2010s.

He is a contemporary man, who lives with his time and who wants to be free of his choices. Signed by Olivier Polge and Carlos Benaïm, the fragrance begins with the freshness of Calabrian bergamot, enhanced by nutmeg and rose berry. Then, the heart oscillates between the aromatic and floral notes of basil, star anise, star anise and violet flower. The base notes are an association between vetiver, patchouli and leathery notes.
