Each of the juices that compose it pays homage to a very specific part of the globe, by deploying a typical scent of a particular country. Aqua Allegoria perfumes are like “raw materials, captured in fine weather and in the middle of nature, at random in a garden, a wood or a beach, here or at the end of the world”. This time, in this year 2019, Guerlain has chosen to focus on the exotic. Ginger here evokes the distant lands of Asia. The result is a free, fresh and lively fragrance, endowed with an indomitable ardor while preserving an undeniable elegance.
Guerlain’s Bee Bottle shines with a solar glow
While each Aqua Allegoria dares to have a very different scent, they all have the same bottle in common. Moreover, this bottle was not chosen at random and reappropriates the mythical Flacon aux Abeilles by Guerlain, originally designed in 1853. The Aqua Allegoria are like a dive in time and in the heritage of one of the largest French brands. The bottle of Ginger Piccante forms a smooth glass cylinder in which a golden juice is reflected. The whole is surmounted by a finely chiseled dome, also covered with a gold lacquer. With Ginger Piccante, everything is harmony and refinement. A metallic ball then overhangs the whole, while being engraved in relief with the iconic Guerlain bee.
